With over 45 years of specialized experience dealing with metals and alloys alongside state-of-the-art facilities and a highly skilled workforce, WEC Group provides top-notch stainless steel fabrication services. We specialise in grades 304/316/2205 stainless steel to meet the UK’s highest standards.

We have an extensive range of modern fabrication equipment, and our 150 skilled welders are highly proficient in stainless steel fabrication techniques and practices. We work to ASME and BS EN standards and our welders are fully qualified in MIG, TIG, MMA, sub-merged arc, and coded welding. All our coded welding is evaluated by PED assessment bodies such as Royal Sun, Lloyds, and BSI.

As a leader in bespoke metal fabrication, WEC Group has worked on various projects such as the Mead’s Reach Bridge and the first stainless steel road bridge in the UK, demonstrating our expertise in complex structures.

Our WEC Fabrication division specialises in manufacturing and fabricating stainless steel pressure vessels, hoppers, and chutes. Each project is designed to fit the individual requirements of each customer.

m-tec is our specialist architectural metalwork division, providing expert design consultation, fabrication, and installation services to artists, architects, and regeneration specialists. The division’s extensive project portfolio includes various bespoke pieces of public art, bridges, canopies, staircases, lighting, and seating.
